Career & College Planning

We are pleased to introduce Naviance, a web-based program designed especially for students and parents.  Students can use this program to help them plan for colleges and careers.

What can students do using Naviance ?

  • Complete career interest surveys
  • Research careers
  • Develop personalized success plans
  • Develop a resume
  • Research colleges
  • Develop a prospective list of colleges you are interested in
  • View college presentations to be held at WDHS
  • Sign up to attend college presentations and print your pass to attend
  • Link to other resources for information on:  SATs, ACTs, Financial Aid, NCAA Eligibility, Scholarships, etc.
  • View charts called scattergrams that display your academic credentials (GPA, SAT scores, etc) compared to other students who have applied to the same college and who were admitted
  • Track college application deadlines
  • Inform your counselor of where you have applied
  • Request high school transcripts
  • Monitor where you stand in the process of submitting all your supporting documents for your college applications
  • View WDHS's listings of colleges and link to the applications
