Coach Dixon

Coach Dixon has served as West Deptford Boys Spring Track Head Coach since 1994 and Winter Track Head Coach since 1996.
Coach Dixon is a member of the West Deptford High School class of ’81, and graduate of West Chester University, class of ’86. He
has been a health and physical education teacher at WDHS since 1993. As an athlete at West Deptford he won varsity letters in Track
and Football, earning All Olympic Conference honors in both sports. In track he was South Jersey Group Champion in the pole vault as
well as Woodbury Relay Champion. At the time of his graduation he held at least part of eight different school records. He went on to
compete in both football and track at West Chester University. During his tenure as track coach at WD, Coach Dixon has guided our
athletes to three individual New Jersey State titles( Meet of Champions), 15 individual State Group titles, 29 South Jersey Sectional titles and many school records.
 The Boys track team was Colonial Conference Champions in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
 To date, Coach Dixon has compiled a career record of 104 wins and 37 loses.
